By 2030, we hope to achieve a distribution of 150 bore holes across 2 northern districts of the country if our well wishers offer the required $30,000. This list limit we plead for but the need is further greater than the comprehended. Our hope is more at prayer than waiting for governmental help before more brothers and sisters die of diseases due to inadequate and inequitable sanitation and hygiene. In 2019 our management team was displeased with the official who displayed truth of our luck of official building by then. With his speech to the funders, we now have one where we pay special attention to the needs of women and girls and those in vulnerable situations caused by different situations.
Child kidnapping, diseases, land distributes, infrastructures, farming projects, literacy and much more will reduce as we improve water quality by eliminating dumping and constructing public but sanitarily protected water bore holes since they are cheaper in the region. Proportion of quarterly year water reservoir inspection is done on our public water structures to avoid water contamination.
THESE ARE THE PROJECTED NEEDS
1) Funds
We've had 2 fundraisings staged locally in the past 2 years which resulted into sh 3,000 000 Ugandan currency. It can hardly cover for the expenses to run the project although volunteers are willing to keep the construction progressing.
Availability of sufficient funds will ensure quick efficient distribution of wells of a wider scaleis than other forms of support promised particularly by corners that have not had a solid credit history keeping collateral promises to local people. We request for international funders not for coraborations which will tend to divert the project into business prospects with unfavourable terms and conditions such as turning the constructed infrastructures into "paid-for" interests.
However, We need to identify the funder incase funder or the society would wish to extend extra appreciations available. Please submit a detailed contact for us.
2) Transport
Since the area has poor road structures linking to distant homesteads to rare service offers, the project rather needs trucks for transporting constructors and material used in building of wells than fancy cars for individual selfish merits.
Historically because many people in rural areas were engaged in things where having a truck was useful. Ranching, farming, construction and so on.
There’s also another consideration: it’s a lot easier to get around in a truck than a car on rural roads in rainy seasons. People in cities are used to public transports getting around fairly quickly unless they have heavy loads like such we use in the anticipated program. That’s true about the country - but (having grown up in the country) - that doesn’t mean you the the funder have missed out on the way you would like to support in this moment of need. The team comprises of contractors so we know what the trucks that will be used will look like after a day full of work. I assure you that a truck will look better than any other types of car offered. We request for trucks please.
3) Machines
The project appeals for water pumps, drills to substantially increase bore hole and piped water distribution efficiency across localities to ensure proper Healths in the areas. Quantity of supply can increase By 35 percent if more better machinery is addressed and attained as we jointly seek to reduce the number of people suffering from water insecurity and scarcity.
Available
We have reliable workers experienced in the heavy machinery a skill and carrier they individually attained in South Africa. With them and the needed machinery, we are sure of implementing integrated water provision and management at all levels including through transboundary cooperation as appropriate as deserved.
Protect and restore water-related ecosystems, including wetlands.
Your support will strengthen the participation of local communities in it's goal of improving water and sanitation management.
